Chat Icon Not cool to refer to your own kid that way.

Although I do think that babysitting a toddler can be an effective way to get teens to realize the importance of safe sex.

So here is the vent.

I have a good sense of humor, I like a bit of sarcasm, some inappropriate humor, I like to laugh at myself, I like to laugh at other people, in general, I like a laugh. But these days when I go out to buy my son some shirts...they all say things like "Here comes trouble" or "I'm a little shi.t" or "Hey, my father is a crackhead and my mother is a big fat hobag" I hate these shirts...because, guess what....He isn't trouble, he isn't a little shi.t, and his dad certainly isn't a crackhead or whatever.

I think these t-shirts are simply inappropriate and there should be no place for our children to wear insults....

The end.

Wow, might as well say "I dislike this kid so much, I'd never have another." That shirt really disgusts me.

I have never seen these type of shirts/onesies in regular stores, I've only spotted them online. Do they really sell them in Malls and clothes stores? I have yet to see them. The type of shirts that I've come accross in stores are graphic tees but they are non offensive.

Where are they then?

While I think many of those are funny & they do not offend me, I would probably never put them on my child. I did once see a shirt online that said "Now that I'm same, I'm pro-choice!" That one, I did find to be offensive & kind of disgusting.

I don't know why people bother to have kids when they feel like that about them.

Sad thing is that the ones who design the tees are probably bitter about being single and all of their friends are married with kids. Chat Icon

They are completely inappropriate and offensive that an adult would use a child's body as the "bulletin board" for such a message.

As a high school teacher, I can't begin to tell you that these "fashion statements"Chat Icon continue to get worse and worse... I'm constantly seeing shirts that are offensive to women, minorities, etc. They not only perpetuate stereotypes but often fit the definition of sexual harassment as per our districts code.

When an adult in the school approaches the kids and parents are called, they often question OUR judgementChat Icon These parents must be the same ones buying such onesies for their kidsChat Icon

I totally agree with you...I had a student once with a tshirt that said "If you think I am a b!tch you should meet my mom" When I told her to cover it up she really had a problem. she didnt think it was inappropriate

I agree. While I personally wouldn't ever buy one, I really don't think someone who puts their child in one truly feels that why.

What happend to "different strokes for different folks." It's not hurting anyone....Chat Icon

I saw one that said "They Shake Me"... should I have called CPS?
