ROAST Recipes

HELP!!! I bought a Roast and I have no idea how to cook it. Anyone have an easy recipe?? I usually put it in the crockpot and it comes out yummy, but I wanted to try it in the oven this time. I just don't want it to be dry.

Re: ROAST Recipes

I have been putting mine in the oven lately, I think I have been putting it on 375

I slice 2 medium size onions and put in the bottom of a roasting pan.
I then put cut a bunch of holes in the top of the roast a put a BUNCH of sliced garlic pieces (we like garlic over here)
I then pour a little bit of balsamic vinegar on it - I am sorry but I don't measure it - it may be about 1/3 of a cup and then salt, pepper and garlic powder and Italian seasoning over the top (we use Four seasons dry seasoning), I use about 1/2 the package.

We cook it for about 1 1/2 hours

Sorry it isn't a recipe from a book or something, but this is how I usually cook - we wing it over here Chat Icon
