Robbie's Birthday Party! LOONNGG and with pics
My son had his 7th birthday party today (his actual birthday isn't until the 22nd). We wanted to do it someplace different than the usual since it will likely be the last time for a while that we have a big bday party for him. So we choseISA in Sayville.- and I am so glad that we did!
The place was really clean, new and attractive. They had a huge blow up castle with a slide that the littler kids absolutely could NOT get enough of! Upstairs they had the party room and a track that the kids loved running around. They had video games - racing games, DDR, toy crane and a few other things. They had beautiful hardwood floors and they had basketballs out for kids to shoot some hoops and THEN.. there was dodgeball!!
Everyone seemed to have a great time. The adults were welcomed to play dodgeball - there was even an adult only game of dodgeball! They had platters of subway sandwiches and soda. I brought chips and other drinks - water, iced tea, lemonade. We had a cake in the shape of a sports jersey that said Happy on one sleeve, Birthday on the other sleeve and Robbie across the top with a big #7 under his name. It was DELICIOUS - white cake with raspberry filling made by Audrey's. Absolutely beautiful and amazingly tasty!
Now.. here's the thing. My husband was in charge of the camera. So I have no pics of the cake.. well I do.. but after it was half eaten. I have no pics of the bounce castle, I have no pics of the video games, the table, the dodgeball court or really much at all. He said he 'forgot' because he was busy playing dodgeball.
I do - however - have some pics of the AMAZING favors that Emmy from Overstuffed Baskets made for me. She filled canvas 'color your own' sports bags with Water bottles, Big League Chew, a mini glow in the dark frisbee and some other treats for the big kids. I also had a few babies there and she made some treats for them as well (although I don't have pics) - they were a matching sports themed plate, cup and bowl with a package of Gerber Graduates treats. She wrapped them and tagged them. She also made a bunch of full sized Hershey bars with special wrappers. And she did it all for a price that was AMAZING.
Here are some LIMITED pics: Front of candy bar Back of candy bar Bag O' Favors Tag from favor bag GOODIES from inside the big kids favor bags You can kind of see the place behind Noah in this pic Filled with love and chocolate after the party My gorgeous little men, Robbie and Noah
THANKS FOR READING AND LOOKING!
