He absolutely did NOT fit the picture of Edward that I had in my head while reading ........and I HATED the movie, but I did actually like him in the movie as Edward........something about him worked -

I think his long hair was a little much, altho it was styled somewhat ok in the movie. I like him much better with shorter hair, but it would be nice if he lost the scruff.

I thought he was much better looking in Harry Potter..but I like him as Edward, but he's got to have the amber-gold eyes and pale skin.

i had edward in my head like a mix of robert downey jr, robert patrick (from lost boys) and a little bit of tom cruise from interview with the vampire...
robert p is cute - but not edward to me....
