Rocky Horror Picture Show
I just had to post this! Suffolk County Community College theatre department on the Selden Campus is doing a production of 'Rocky Horror Picture Show' - it was unbelievable...like a broadway production! It is so worth going. The show has one more weekend from next Thursday 11/30 through next Sunday 12/3. It is very risque & there was a lot of audience interaction last night.
I never post about things like this but I am telling you it was amazing...I guess it doesn't hurt that my sister is part of the cast but my DH (who isn't big into plays) absolutely loved it as well. FM me for details.

or are they singing along to the Rocky Horror Picture Show movie?
I'm a huge Rocky Horror Fan. Currently in my CD player is the original London cast!

I'm a huge Rocky Horror Fan. Currently in my CD player is the original London cast!
No - they are doing the actual play of Rocky Horror - live band/music. It is great! If you are a fan, it is worth seeing. Only $8 a ticket

I ask because a lot of colleges just do screenings of the movie with dancing and singing. awesome that they're doing the show.
I would love to! I saw it a million times on Broadway
How far out is it? LIE exit wise?
Who does your sister play?
Is your sister an actor by profession, or just for fun?

It is off Nicolls Road - south of the LIE (exit 62) and north of Sunrise (exit 51).
My sister plays Colombia - one of the leads! She is in the theatre department and wants to pursue a career in acting.

I'm a director and stage manager by profession, so let me know if she's interested in netwroking. I don't know if I'll be able to make it, even though I would LOVE to see Rocky Horror! It's quite dar, and next weekend I am going to be busy casting my next show.
