Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever
We just found out Meri has this. She was tested for lyme (which came back positive) back in December and was on antibiotics for a few weeks.... she seemed to bounce back but recently hasn't been herself. We took her to the vet and they ran bloodwork and came back telling us she has a low grade of rocky mountain spotted fever. My poor girl She has to go on antibiotics for 3 weeks... I hope she's feeling back to herself soon! We live on the water and the ticks are so bad this year...
