Re: Roller Coaster of a Day
Sounds like it could be a chemical Pregnancy, they unfortunatly are very common, The blood work will tell you more.

Re: Roller Coaster of a Day
I am so sorry to hear this...but maybe the sensitivity of the tests was just not as sensitive. I heard that the ones at the drs office are less sensitive. Maybe go and try a first response test?? Or use the same test you used the first time. If you are not bleeding that is a good sign!!

Re: Roller Coaster of a Day
This would be the second time I had "false" positives. I am 22 this should not be happening!!
Can you tell me more about "chemical pregnancies"

Re: Roller Coaster of a Day
how early are you testing before AF is due? Honestly, sometimes testing too early can give you a +, even though something may be off and the pregnancy may not progress as planned. My OB is adamant against not testing before AF is due because sometimes things can happen.

Re: Roller Coaster of a Day
It does sound like a chemical. I had two and from what doctors have told me 75% of women will have at least one and never know it. With a chemical you will usually get a positive and then pretty much get AF within a couple of days to a week. I am so sorry if thats really what it is. I am praying its not.

Hugs. Sounds like it was a chemical pregnany. Sometimes HPT are a double edge sword because we "know" so early. HUGS

Re: Roller Coaster of a Day
If it is a chemical pregnancy then how come I didn't get AF yet and I still have PG symptoms? (Frequent urination and boobs hurting). I am so confused and just feel so angry and upset.

AF comes late with a checmical PG, b/c as your Beta showed , you still have HCG in your system.
BAsed soley on your +'s and then negatives, I would say in all honesty, it sounds like its going down. I know thats not what you wanted to hear, but I didnt want to give you false hope.
I do think though that's just my guess and I could wrong, and I do hope I am.
My Dr liked to see HCG levels at 14 days past ovulation over 50-60. But its entirely possible you ovulated later then expected.
Did you take the SAME hpt's? If it were different brands you got a + and then - on , it could be the tests read different levels. If it was the same brand , I would think the numbers then are going down.
Lots of prayers

Re: Roller Coaster of a Day-UPDATED
I really just wish my OBGYN would be truthful so I know how to prepare...I just moved to FL and NOTHING is the same as NY. I am so missing home and EDUCATED people right now.
