rolling closing costs into the mortgage
Is there a benefit to this? It's a HARP loan so the cc are about $4500.
I guess not having to lay out the money is nice but is there some other benefit to doing this?

i think thats the real benefit- not having to pay out of pocket. otherwise if you could swing it paying oop then your principal amount being borrowed will be lower.

The bebfit to us was that we were not using all our cash and being poor.
THe con is that it is in your mortgage and you are payign interest on it.
