Rome--hop on/off bus tour
I am thinking that when DH and I go to Rome we will buy the 48 hour hop on/hop off bus pass. This way it takes us to all the sites.
Has anyone done this? Would you recommend it?
I think I will buy us tickets to St. Peter's, the Vatican ahead of time and use the bus as a means to get there as well as the other main attractions.
Any feedback would be great

We did this in London and its an awesome way to see everything at your own pace. Buying tickets ahead of time to certain places is definitely a good idea! I hope to get to Italy some day!

We did this in Rome & had no issues.
One of the stops was directly across the street from our hotel which was super convenient.
The bus had the headphones so you could listen to all the area info and they gave you the bus route map so you could get picked up anywhere.
I would definitely recommend it!
