room layout
we are going to be dormering our house and will finally have a dining room on the main floor. if we are removing a wall between the living room and bedroom, would you put the diningroom in the front or rear of the house ( kitchen is in the front, but rear room would be slightly smaller)

Re: room layout
what else could the rear room be used as? If you use it as a dining room can you add doors to the yard? I love dining rooms that have access to outside.

Re: room layout
the rear room would be a dining room with doors to the yard, but would it look stupid if the kitchen is in the front of the house ( on the opposite side) and you would have to walk through the living room to get to the dining room ( i also have a hall way that would lead to it)

Re: room layout
Why dotn oyu make the living room the dining room and move the living room to the back of the house with doors leading outside?
Think it would flow nicer, if thats an option
