Grindhouse stars Rosario Dawson and Rose McGowan have more than a new movie in common—they're also sexy and single! The killer babes appear on the cover of the new Rolling Stone, in which they contemplate dating in Hollywood and the pleasures of playing the bad girl. Trust us, their conversation is as kick-*** as the characters they play on screen.

McGowan, 33, on the repercussions of playing her Grindhouse character Cherry Darling, a woman who’s leg was eaten by zombies and replaced by a machine gun:
“There’s gun fetishists and amputee fetishists, and between the two, I’m going to be really popular. I’m just far too lazy for a fetish.

Dawson, 27, on boyfriends and commitment:
“I’ve only had three serious boyfriends. I used to think I was commitment-phobic, but I’m just picky. I like making out. I have a tendency to say, ‘You’re cute, let’s make out.’ And then if you’re not a good make-out person, it’s not going to go any further.”

McGowan on being single for the first time in 19 years, after public relationships with Marilyn Manson and Men’s Health Editor David Zinczenko:
“It can be incredibly lonely…people say it’s good for you to be single. Why?... It has been pointed out that I like people obsessed with their work – they leave me alone. If I’m looking for anything in a man, I’d say empathy, and thousands of miles between us.”

Dawson on playing the bad girl:
“I like playing the bad girl. I have a natural proclivity for it. I'm an aggressive person. I’ve got five uncles on my mom’s side, so I can handle a charley horse if it comes my way. I’m good to go.”

Dawson on being intimidating:
“That’s my bad-girl thing. I find it fascinating that people see that in me. Just because I’m not scared of you doesn’t mean that I’m scary.”
