Rottweiler Owners ( or just plain old new pup help)
My husband just got us a rottie pup (probably mix) from a shelter. I have some nervousness about their "reputation" although I know they can be great family pets. Anyone have any advice, tips or know of any good pet training places?
I'm soo excited for the new pup but a little nervous too.

I have a rottie mixed with chow. He is wonderful. Very loving and well behaved. He has to be introduced to people before they come in the house (they give him a biscuit) but that is really the only issue with him. Once he sees that we are ok with the person he rolls over for a belly rub! Image Attachment(s):

I have two dogs that are mixed Pitbulls...one looks like a pit and they are the best dogs ever. I firmly believe its all in the training. Also a friend of ours have a rotty and she is so laid back and very friendly.
if your in Nassau county and looking for a dog trainer I highly recommend Best Friends Dog Training, they are amazing! www.muttmanners.com
