Need help picking out a router. It's been super slow WFH and I have no idea how to pick one out. Someone also said to look into signal booster?
Thanks!

We got a Netgear Orbi mesh and it's made big difference.

Re: Router recommendations
I've respected Tom's Guide for anything computer related for decades. This is their list of the best routers. Big price range for whatever you're looking for. The mesh routers are nice because you can easily add extenders to the mesh for one really bed wifi network that covers any size house. I'm a fan of Netgear. I have several in my house.

Re: Router recommendations
My DH always uses CNET for router recs. He generally likes ASUS, we've had a few models and we always have super fast internet.

I have one router/modem (they technically aren't modems, since they don't MODulate/DEModulate anymore since there isn't an analog phone line, but that's just my OCD computer knowledge getting in my way... ) from FiOS, but I have a few others throughout the house to cover the entire property, including the yard.

Since I know nothing about this......if I get this other router do I just install it in the room I am working out of? Right now our hookup is downstairs in my livingroom.

We have this as well but it doesn't cover the whole house or support me working from home and 2 kids learning remotely so I needed to purchase a router.
ETA - Well, it did cover the whole house (my house is less than 2k square feet) but DH did something to optimize the internet and now it won't reach my office or our guest room - where DS does his remote learning.
