RP: Anyone ever had a sonohystogram
I went to my OB today for my regular exam and told him that I had been having break through bleeding in between my periods and my periods have been going on for 10-12 days (even with the pill). So he is sending me for a sonohystogram and I was wondering what to expect. Anyone know?

I had one last year, its a bit uncomfortable. I took 3 advils an hour before the exam. Good luck!!!

they say it's like AF cramping but It was a bit more painful for me then AF cramps!! Tylenol before you helps!

I had one done - It was quick.
Definitely take your advil before going -
I had light af type cramping after the procedure that lasted for a little while.
It wasn't bad for me @ all.
I was expecting it to be 20x worse.

I had one done. My dr. prescribed me atavin (sp?) to relax before hand. It really helped. It wasn't bad at all. The procedure was over 1, 2, 3. Take some motrin beforehand and you will be fine. Good luck.
