I have three dogs; two of which are horrendous with shedding. I've always had dogs and over the years have gone through quite a few vacuums. I, usually, buy one every three years, except for one that I had for ten years. That was an Electrolux. I know they are expensive and I wish I could afford one now, but, IMO they are the best on the market. I've tried many different brands and not one measures up to an Electrolux. In the ten years I had that vacuum, I only had to replace two belts. I vacuum every day I highly recommend it if you can afford it.
