Rubber Stamp Question
How do you clean them properly after using them? I usually use warm soap & water, is there something else that I should be using. TIA

Re: Rubber Stamp Question
I was told to stay away from soap and water as too much water can saturate the wood and foam backing. I use a baby wipe to clean off most of the ink. If necessary I will use a dauber of the stamp cleaner and a cleaning pad. It has soft raised bristols (sort of like a stiff velvet) that you moisten with the stamp cleaner. Rub the stamp on the pad and it gets into the small recessed areas on the stamp.

ITA with Karen!
a little "staining" on a rubber stamp will not harm it, nor will it get on your other projects. It actually gives the stamp a little character!

Re: Rubber Stamp Question
using soap and water will actually dry out your rubber stamps and they will crack over time...
I use baby wipes too.

Re: Rubber Stamp Question
I bought a special cleaner for it. It looked like a stamp pad but it was stamp cleaner. Then I dabbed it on a paper towel.

Re: Rubber Stamp Question
I also have a special cleaning pad for them. I got it from Stampin Up through my friend who is a demonstrator. It looks like a big ink pad.
