runners - trophies and medals?
what are you doing with your trophies and medals?
right now they are in a pile in the bottom of my closet.
DH wants to display them in our home gym.. but I feel kinda silly. I'm not in little league I am an adult!

Dh made a shadow box for my first half marathon, and put my race number and medal in it. I have another shadow box that's been sitting in our bedroom for my NYC Marathon medal from LAST year lol. Eventually we'll do that one. But I found a really cool site that has medal display holders that I think I'm gonna get for the rest:

Mine are all packed away....I'm like you- I feel kinda silly displaying them.
Although for the medals, my dad has one of those medal hangers and its in the basement. I think those are cute without being too much. And some place like a basement or home gym its tucked away so it isn't all in your face.

Mine are hanging off a nail in our office. They are off to the side of a bookshelf so you can only really see them if you are sitting at the desk. It's only my marathon medals. I feel like I worked really hard for those and I should be proud of the accomplishment.

Mine are mostly from 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in age group. Nothing great. Our home gym in in our basement and no one ever goes in there but DH and I, so I might give in and let him build a shelf. He is proud.

We put them on a shelf in our spare room. Very rarely does anyone go in there. I feel funny displaying them. My DH has two shadow boxes for his HS and college jerseys and medals.

2 of my marathon medals are in a shadow box with pics of me and DH coming across the finish. 2 others are on a random nail in my bedroom..and i have no idea where my other 2 are now that i'm thinking of it 
i think it would be great if you had them on display in a home gym!

My kids like to play with mine, but all marathon and HM medals are donated
DH put two plaques where I won $ up in our dining room
