Runners- stupid sneaker question!
What do you do with your sneakers once you've put a ton of mileage on them and it's time to switch to new shoes? I have like 4 pairs of sneakers. I can't bare to get rid of 2 of them- one pair I ran my first half in, the other my first marathon. Call me crazy but now they have sentimental value. Am I crazy?!?! Lol. But the other 2 I maybe should donate or something? What do you do?

I wear them for walking & other low impact exercise, or just if I run out to the store. I wear them until they're falling apart lol.

I do mud runs so I use them for that, and then donate them at the races.

I do this as well...its always nice to have a few old ones on hand to do one of the messy races!

lol i know what you mean about the sentimental value.
i've donated the ones with no sentimental value. the others, i've kept for casual wear... they aren't torn or ugly, just have a truck load of miles on them.
maybe, someday, i'll get rid of them... for now, they are not going anywhere!
