rushed to the drs tonite... Need some friendly messages!! UPDATE BELOW
well tonite I was feeling really light headed and starting to feel a lot of cramping. So my DH called the doctors and we went right in. The Doctor said that I was over working myself and starting to make myself go into pre-term labor. I am 35 weeks so the doctor would like me to last 2 more weeks. He has decided that I have to stay home now as of today. I have a month left of classes at Grad School. Some of my professors understand but I am scared of others. I am going in on Tuesday to at least take some tests that were scheduled but that is it. WHY CANT I HAVE A NORMAL PREGNANCY!!!!
Leave me some messages to cheer me up...Thanks ladies!!

School can wait, teachers will understand. Your baby will be in your arms soon & everything you're going through will be worth it.

i am so sorry....will your professor maybe let you finish the class at home by handing in the work and such? atleast your babies ok!!

Due to pg issues, I missed the last couple of weeks of my grad classes last semester. The professors were fine about it. Thankfully, I was able to do all work from home and didn't need to take an incomplete (although that would've been fine).
This is a bonafide excuse- it's not like you're having a case of spring fever and just want to skip class. Your professors will surprise you I think (especially the ones who you think will be jerks about it)
Take a step back- realize that while grad school is VERY important, your health and the health of your little one are MORE important.
You're little one will be here so soon!!!

Everyone's health right now is far more important than some classes...if your teachers can't understand that [and yes, there are those that won't], it just shows you their true colors.

You are 35 weeks pregnant and I hope that your teachers understand what's most important here. A healthy baby and the ability to make up the work when you are up and around again!

I have spoken to all but one professor and they were all ok. I could not believe it.
