RX question
I am having a helluva time figuring out my new RX plan. Basically Kraupner just called me with some absurd amount and teh prices are way off from the plans website. They are saying I have some deductible that I will have to call about tomorrow.
But one of my questions is this. For brand Estrace I would have to pay $164.22 and for generic $5. Of course my MD wrote DAW. Has anyone used the generic? I will ask my MD about it Monday, but just wondering what others did!

I gave my clinic a list of the meds that I have, and they revised my calendar and order for me at Freedom Pharmacy. So instead of $4K, I paid.... $150 +/-.
I would DEF work with your nurse or patient care coordinator to discuss this. Tell them to work with you if you are paying out of pocket.
Also there is a website where you can buy meds second-hand.

Ahhhhhh, ok. I took those when I was with Kreiner, and haven't since, so I'm not sure what the brand is... Sorry!

yes, I used the generic, it worked just fine. Just ask your RE to write out a RX for the generic.
I just threw some out, i should have saved them
