s/o: short cycle = early delivery
Is it true that if you have a short menstrual cycle, you go into labor before your due date?

I have never heard that before. I don't think any of those old wives tales hold weight. You just won't know until the baby comes.

My cycles have always been average(28 days) and I had 1 full term delivery and 2 preterm. It's an old wives tale!

If the length of your cycle had anything to do with when you went in to labor, my DD would have been born around her 2nd birthday! My cycles used to be between 60 and 120+ days long before I got pregnant!
