S/O to running away for a day...Rec's for day spa?
I don't think I've ever spent a day at a spa, so I don't know where to look. And I want to go now.
Any recommendations for a day spa?
edited: Looking for a special place, like the ones that give you champagne, fruit & a personal robe & slippers.

This place is great! You can book services, or just use the pools and grounds! And EXTREMELY clean!!

Mirbeau Inn Woodloch
We moved to DC but I have done a few weekends by myself in Manhattan. It was amazing! I got a nice hotel room, watched some old movies, met up with friends, went shopping. I was able to do SO SO MUCH in 2 days without kids. I felt so refreshed. One weekend I stayed at the Mondrian SoHo and did spa day at Trump Soho. The other time I did the W with Bliss Spa.
It is SUCH a different experience from when you go away with the family. I actually liked being in a hotel room alone. So relaxing. I never have any alone time so it was a well needed break. I enjoy gf getaways but I liked my weekend alone even better.
DH and I always say we will go away alone but we rarely do because it is hard to leave the children.
the next time I sneak away to manhattan, I may do Setai and their spa. I have not stayed at their manhattan location but have been to their spa. LOVED it. Absoutely spectacular and luxurious.

Just to tell you- I stayed at Setai in NYC- did not use the spa- but the hotel was amazing. Impeccable. Gorgeous rooms, amazing staff, spectacular service. You will love it.
