My sister has it, actually. They have it installed in their Mazda CX9 and the thing is HUGE!!

Those who have it over at car-seat.org seem to really like it.
BRU usually will let you try a seat out in the parking lot, so you could try it.
The MyRide 65 is a bit shorter I believe, that may work for you. I know that it fits in the back of my Kia and in a bunch of cars we test drove.
I know a Combi Coccoro would fit for you too, that seat was specifically designed for cramped back seats. But I haven't been able to find one in a store on LI.
