SAHMMYs who are hiding from the sun today...
What the heck are you doing with your toddler types? We are cooped up in our apt, since I, and he, don't "do" temps over 90. We are translucent skin types and it just doesn't agree with us 
So he's had his OT appt, he's watched oodles of TV already and is now JUMPING from the couch to the cushions below it and doing toddler death rolls off the cushions onto the wood floor.
It might as well be frigging February.
What are YOU doing?

We are going to a friend's for a playdate - but they pull out the sprinklers and the baby pool - and we sit in the shade. Then they go inside and play. If you are home - why not find a tree to sit under for like 15 mins - or better put on a suit or old clothes and run thru the sprinklers with them we have done that before too.
Arts and crafts, building forts/tents (small table using a blanket and the couch, dress up, movies, story time.

yep , we don't do temps over 90 either! He had playtime in a cool bath, watched TV in the AC, played with boxes & I'll five him lunch soon.

we are because Luke is having some allergy issues and my rule of thumb is, if my allergies are bothering me, then his are. So we stay in on days like that. I am bored, I have cleaned, eaten, eaten eaten.

He's helping me make home made pierogies!!! We've built a fort out of our tents with a tunnel running through and we just put on a movie. (The first of the day)

I'm only a Summer SAHMMY but I am sitting on my arse and cranking up the CAC while I plant my kids in front of the TV. I earned it.
