Sale fell through...
Dh and I have been trying to sell our house and we got 2 offers in one day a few weeks back. So we went with the one couple thinking they were our best buyer and just the other day, the deal feel through. I was so sad  , because the inspection had gone well and we were just about to sign contract and they buyer backed out. If anyone has ever experienced that, how did you feel? I just hope and pray the sale of this house will get better and be done with soon. To boot, since it had been 3 weeks since the offer, the other buyers already are in contract on another house. I guess ya never know.

It happens. Always continue to show the house and take backup offers until you have a signed contract.

Yes, always continue to show a house and ALWAYS make sure any bids come pre-approved. Ask them to fax the certificate from their lender when they place the bid. This is what we are requiring.
