Salty foods

Hi there again. I am having a really hard time staying away from salty carbs and not sure what to do about it. I can't seem to stomach anything else. Is it absolutely terrible that it's the only thing I can eat for now? I'm hoping it changes over the next few weeks as I draw near to the end of my 1st tri. But for now, I am at a loss as to what I should do. I've been trying to have less carbs by having more soups but most soups are very high in sodium as well. Any tips are appreciated! Chat Icon

I am all for Eat what you can stomach!! Don't worry about it! Just be sure to drink enough water so you don't retain water from the sodium. Salty greasy things were the 1 item that kept me satisfied and kept the queasies away during the 1st trimester.

I say eat whatever you can stomach for now. I was only able to handle only carbs for the 1st few months. Once you feel better, you can modify your diet.
