Salumi in massapequa

I noticed on another thread that someone mentioned this place. I am seeing great reviews online.

I am considering it for dinner with a group for my husbands 30th bday. Would this be a good place for a group of around 10 or so people? Also, how are the prices? I don't want people to feel like they have to spend a fortune.

Thanks for any input!! :)

they have a long table for a group so I'm sure that would be fine.

it's small plate servings and cheese and meat boards, so you are just ordering a bunch of little things. but it does add up. i went with my dh and parents and we had 2 bottles of wine, a cheese board, and prob 4-5 tapas and it was around $200 with tax and tip.

we left happy and full!

I agree with the AP. It is really good food though so I don't mind paying the money. Haven't had anything we didn't like the 3 times we've been there. I liked it much better than Barrique in Babylon.

Re: Salumi in massapequa

I am planning to go this weekend.

My friend from work has gone a couple of times.

She said that like everywhere else, you need to be careful with wine and drinks because those are the priceist.

She said she asked the waiter to bring her a "good white wine" and it was $19.00 for just that one glass.
