Sam the Butcher is gone
From TMZ:
Actor Allan Melvin, best known to "Brady Bunch" fans as Sam the Butcher, boyfriend of Alice -- has gone to the big meat market in the sky.
Melvin died in Los Angeles on Thursday at age 84. His starred in old school hits like "The Phil Silvers Show" and "All in the Family" -- but will best be remembered as Ann B. Davis's meat makin' hottie.
