samantha is finally on the "chart" for weight......
our peanut had her six month visit yesterday at the ped.....she now weighs 11 lbs 14 oz and is 25" long....still a tiny  but she finally is on the charts - 10% but still....it feels so good ....lord knows where she got her metabolism since she eats great!!!
she also got THREE shots  but did really well for them.....now she's a snuggle bug today!

Ahhh isn't that a nice feeling. 
I've learned not to stress too much. As long as they're healthy being a peanut is OK.

Ahhh isn't that a nice feeling.
I've learned not to stress too much. As long as they're healthy being a peanut is OK.
dh and i have come to grips w/ it too but now when [inevitably] dh's family "just asks" if she's ok since (I quote) "she's so small, I mean are you sure she is ok?" - we can tel them she is on the charts!!!!

Great news. Andrew is still only in the 10th Percentile for wigiht and height
Those percentiles are only statistics....as long as your child is growing healthy and reaching the milestones for his/her months, all is well.

My DD is 8yo and has ALWAYS been about 5% on those charts ! ! ! If you compare her height and her weight though, she is 45% - 50% so the Dr. says she is perfectly healthy.
My DD is in 2nd grade, is about 45 lbs, and 47 inches. Compared to her friends she is a "peanut" but that's okay with me ! She's a girl, girls can be petiete (sp?)
