Re: Sandals Royal Bahamian
We went there on our Honeymoon. We stayed in the Honeymoon Villas. It was beautiful but the last three nights were rough due to a nasty storm that caused us to lose power for several hours and our bathroom cieling sprung a leak. We were disappointed how these things were handled so we wrote a letter and Sandals gave us 3 nights free on a future stay at any Sandals.
All of the restaurants were great and the service was incredible. We had butler service and were treated like royalty. Despite our issues, which I believe were islolated, we'd defintely return.

Re: Sandals Royal Bahamian
Eh.... it was "ok".
Read my bridal review on LIW if you can find it.
All in all... food was "ok". The room was not very clean (empty beer bottles under the bead, stains in the bathroom they didn't clean after we told them over and over.
I would probably give another sandals a try... but I won't be going back to the Bahamian.

Oh... and how can I forget... they gave us the keys to somebody else's room when I checked in.
It was a good thing they weren't in... or doing the nasty when we walked in. Can you imagine?

Re: Sandals Royal Bahamian
I'd have to agree with Pill. It was just an "ehh" experience for us.
We had to change rooms after the first day because ours smelled like mold and musty. And their version of a garden view is not the same as mine. Our garden view was a patch of grass about 3 feet wide, with a road and fence just beyond. We were a little diappointed.
The food was just ok, unless you ate in the restaurants that required reservations. If you do that, make sure you call as soon as you get there, otherwise, you won't get a reservation.
This vacation for us showed us that we are really not the "all inclusive" type of people. We felt very limited as to where we could eat and things to do.

Re: Sandals Royal Bahamian
We went on our Honeymoon and had a great time! But nothing could really make it a bad time because we were so excited to be in the Bahamas
We would definetly go back. We went for 10 days and they couldn't do enough for us. We had a beaufitul suite overlooking the ocean. The room was huge. So worth it.
Even if you don't stay at Sandals definetly still go to the Bahamas. I have been there a zillion times in my life and it is my home away from home. I can't wait to buy a place there
ETA: Be careful in Sept. Hurricanes love to hit the Bahamas.

Re: Sandals Royal Bahamian
Danielle and I went to Sandals for our honey moon but we went to the Sandals Grande St Lucian in St Lucia. It was an amazing 5 star all inclusive resort. The food was excellent.
I also heard that Antiguas Sandals is amazing too Scott

Re: Sandals Royal Bahamian
Went to Bahamian in Sept 01. Sept 11 to be exact.
While that put damper on our overall vacation, I have to agree that it was eh..
One of the restaurants was closed, the room they were upgrading us to smelled like smoke.
Just a few things,
Been to St. Lucia 2x , Royal Plantation, HHalcyon and they were all great. Royal Plantation was really special.
