Sanford Broiwn Institute for Ultrasound Technician Program?
Has any one attended or gone to get into on attending this school for a certificate in Ultrasound Technician?
I am interested in becoming an Ultrasound Tech and from what I have found this is one of the only vocational schools that offers this program on Long Island. Can anyone give me any feedback?
I am looking to start in the fall after Sept) but they keep pushing me to come in now and I don't want to go to the appointment just yet.

My coworker is in this program and she loves Sanford Brown. She is almost done with the classes and will be starting her internship this fall. If you have any questions, FM me and I will ask her for you.

The BEST program is at Boces in Northport. My friends all went there and they all have great jobs. I graduated from the Nuclear MEdicne program and we took some of the core classes together. Its a 2 year program.

Re: Sanford Broiwn Institute for Ultrasound Technician Program?
I looked into all the programs last year... I wanted to make the career change but things turned around at my job so I decided to stay. There was going to be a new program starting at Dowling but I think it got delayed due to low enrollment. I really liked that one because the first half of the program was nights (so you could still keep your full time job or the first half of the program) and the second half was on the job training. Overall, the one in Northport is the best program.
