Re: sangria recipes???
I make just a simple one...
1 bottle of CHEAP red wine 2-3oz of Some kind of brandy apples oranges plums 1/2 cup sugar 1 cup Apple Cider
Mix all together and let sit in the fridge preferably over night.
This isnt a traditional recipe but it has always worked for me..and Ive been known to ommit the brandy if I dont have any..I make a big batch in the summer time for BBQs and my neighbors look forward to it..

Re: sangria recipes???
BJ's sells a bottle of sangria. All you have to do is add the fruit. I make it a day or two ahead of time and let it soak into the fruit and have never had a complaint.

I believe it's called Yago and it is really good. I just add apples, peaches, and oranges to it.Image Attachment(s):

Preparation Combine wine & sugar and stir until sugar is dissolved. Add all ingredients except for grapes, peach, strawberries & seltzer. Chill overnight. Before serving add strawberries, peaches, grapes, & seltzer. To serve, fill ½ glass with ice and pour sangria over.
White Sangria Ingredients: 1 bottle of dry white wine, chilled 1 bottle of champagne, chilled ½ C sugar ½ c orange juice 1/2 c. tequila 1 orange, sliced into rings 1 lemon sliced into rings 1 peach 2 cup cold seltzer

It has red wine in it. I don't add anything, but fruit.
If you want to make it stronger, you can add more wine or triple sec..

Re: sangria recipes???
I make all my drinks to taste (woo hoo LOL) so I don't reallly know measurement but
red sangria 1 bottle wine (I use Conche y Toro) sprite/seven up/Sierra mist OR seltzer (but if you use seltzer you must also add sugar) orange juice Spanish Brandy (rec. Fundador) Bacardi Apple Rum apples oranges limes
I chop up about 2 of each of the fruits (the fruit is my fav part) and DOUSE them in equal parts of the brandy and rum. and I mean DOUSE. I let the sit.
In the meanting, combine wine, selzer/soda, and OJ and a ton of ice. add the soda/juice slowly so you get the taste of it.
when it's almost ready, dump the fruit mix into the wine mix.
it's a very fortified version but everyone loves it.
I created it after years of experimentation

Re: sangria recipes???
INGREDIENTS: 1 Bottle of red wine (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Rioja, Zinfandel, Shiraz) 1 Lemon cut into wedges 1 Orange cut into wedges 1 Lime cut into wedges 2 Tbsp sugar Splash of orange juice 2 Shots of gin 1 Cup of sliced strawberries or raspberries 1 Small can of diced pineapples (with juice) 4 Cups ginger ale PREPARATION: Pour wine in the pitcher and squeeze the juice wedges from the lemon, orange and lime into the wine. Toss in the fruit wedges (leaving out seeds if possible) and add sugar, orange juice and gin. Chill overnight. Add ginger ale and ice just before serving. If you'd like to serve right away, use chilled red wine and serve over lots of ice. However, remember that the best Sangrias are chilled around 24 hours in the frig. - allowing the flavors to really marinate into each other.
