Yes! DH and I were there in May, and it is the PERFECT place for a getaway! We absolutely loved Sanibel! It is such a beautiful place, great beaches, bike riding paths, wonderful restaurants, shopping, etc. And its so easy to get to...you fly into Fort Myers, and its right there. I can't recommend it enough!

We stayed at the Sanibel Inn. It wasnt overly fancy or anything, but it was clean and low-key, and I liked the location. And their beach was amazing. There arent too many chain hotels on the island, I think the only one is a Holiday Inn

yes, we went there for our honeymoon and it was excellent. We stayed at the Song of the Sea, which was beautiful and right on the beach.

yes my parents have a condo in captiva right next to sanibel at the south seas island resort. its gorgeous there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
