Santa came to the neighborhood!

My friend was over and we heard sirens and we were like "wow, they sound close." Turns out there were like 5 fire trucks outside with Christmas lights and Santa was out there posing for pictures. So, we bundled Christopher up and ran outside like idiots. He LOVED the bright lights!

ETA: He was too busy looking at the lights to look at the camera Chat Icon

Aww! that's so cute! I wish they did that here.

When I was growing up we lived on military bases, and they'd tell you what day Santa was coming around and you could sign up to have him knock on your door to talk to your kids. And if you left gifts hidden on the stoop or in the bushes, Santa would give each kid a gift. It was great!

Yeah, it would've been nice to know they were coming, so we could've had him bundled and ready Chat Icon. That sounds amazing. It would be so nice if that had stuff like that around here (not that it matters now, but when he's older...)
