Santa Question

I don't know if I should bring Jack to one of the malls to meet Santa or not. Every year at my parents county club they bring in a Santa Claus and all of the kids get gifts (we bring them in) and Santa brings them out. They all sit on his lap.

My only issue is that we go with my entire family so all of the kids would be up there at the same time. I may not get a pic of him alone with Santa. But, then I could always request to get my gift first - that way no other kid is up there - and then take it.

OR - should I just go to the mall.

Some dilemma right? I feel silly even typing this! I need to learn how to make a decision without you girls! Chat Icon

Re: Santa Question

I think I would take him to the mall (as long as you can go when it won't be really crowded - I don't think it would be worth it to stand on a really long line if he's seeing Santa at the CC too.)

Re: Santa Question

I say just take him to the mall. The one at Roosevelt Field is really nice (if they have the same guy from last year). If that one doesn't come out right then just ask to take a picture alone at the CC.

Re: Santa Question

I say ask if you can get a pic of just him at the Country Club...it's his first christmas after all, people should understand!!

If you happen to be in the mall and there's no line for Santa Chat Icon , then do it there, but I wouldn't make a special trip for it personally!

This is what I'm thinking. I know my family wouldn't care - but it's usually pretty rushed since there are about 100 kids waiting for toys from Santa! Chat Icon Chat Icon

Jack could tackle bigger kids!!! Chat Icon Definitely try to get a pic alone...maybe try to get Santa at the end, when the kids are all opening their presents and Santa is lonely (and tired Chat Icon )

That's not a bad idea. Plus I have two aunts that work at the club - I bet they could pull some strings for me with Santa! Chat Icon

Re: Santa Question

When is the gathering at the Country Club? If it's early enough in December, I'd try to get a picture there. Then, if it doesn't come out good, or you can't get one, you still have time to run to the mall. Go at an off hour - first thing on a weekday, so there won't be as big of a crowd.

Thomas gets his picture taken with Santa at day care, so I'm going to see how that comes out, and if I don't like it, I'll take him to the mall!

Good luck!

We go December 9th. It wouldn't be for a Xmas card though - that will be done this week - just a picture to have for his first Xmas.

Re: Santa Question

I would just do it at the country club and save yourself the $25 and the possibility of waiting on line at the mall.

Re: Santa Question

Honestly - since it is his first Christmas - I would bring him to the mall.

What happens if at the Country Club - you don't get a picture with Santa by himself.

I would rather know I am going to get one done with Santa so at the Country Club you don't - its not a big deal - know what I mean? Chat Icon

Re: Santa Question

Diana I say go to B'way mall - cuz if nothing else, you will have fun hanging with Santa!! He's great!

But do it now, before the crowds. There was NOBODY when I went yesterday.
