We saw Carrie's apartment on the SDex and the City tour. Last I knew, Carrie's apartment is in the same area of the village that SJP real apertment is iin. I love her though..so normal!!

although on the show carries apt was on like E.73rd or something in reality the brownstone they filmed was on Perry st in the village.
hmmm, i find it odd that she is coming out of the basement apartment though... so maybe it isnt her house

Her and her husband live in the west village

Many brownstones aren't seprated into apartments. My grandparents lived in whole thing, and the "mud room" type area where we'd come and go was the basement level, not the parlor level, so maybe that's what is going on. I doubt she'd have a tenant.

Anyone remember the movie "Panic Room" with Jodie Foster? In the movie, she lived in an entire NYC brownstone...that's what they used to be used as, before a lot of them were broken up into apts. I bet SJP uses all the floors.
