Sarah Jessica Parker wants you to cover up
Sarah Jessica Parker has launched a crusade to cover up young America with her new cheap-chic clothing line Bitten. The former Sex & The City star’s new Steve & Barry line of affordable womens wear features only conservative attire - because the actress is tired of seeing young girls baring almost all.
The 2004 Designers of America Fashion Icon award winner says, “There’s not going to be any inappropriate midriff showing, regardless of your age. I really don’t care for it. I feel like, as a culture, we have seen enough damage done by it. It’s provocative in a way that I just don’t feel comfortable with.”

I think that's different considering this is aimed at young girls.
And I don't even remember her outfits were all that revealing on SATC... a little odd and a little out there at times but for the most part all her important parts stayed covered.
God knows sometimes I wished she dare to go braless because I HATED constantly seeing her bra straps under everything.

The clothes were on Oprah and they were all very nice and EVERYTHING in the line is under $20, even coats!!

I could be wrong, but I think she is the only one on S&TC that never had a nude scene. You also have to seperate an actor portraying a character and real life. I've never seen her inapprorpiately dressed on personal time.
I say good for her. Whether it will be popular or not remains to be seen.

she dressed a certain way cause of her character. In all pictures you see of her now, she dresses pretty normal. I cant wait to see the clothes in person. Very excited!

I agree as well. And furthermore, it was a tv show aimed at an adult audience, on a cable network.
If any little girls were watching it it is the fault of their parents, not SJP.
