Sarah's Key
Has anyone read (or reading) this? Thoughts, reviews? I've been reading a lot of these types of books lately (WWII, Holocaust novels) and wondering what people think about this one.

Re: Sarah's Key
I read it a few years ago. I liked it, although I felt like it jumped back and forth between the 2 story lines too much.
ETA: Have you read Art Spiegelman's Maus I and II graphic novels? I'm not a graphic novel girl at all but had to read them for a Literature of the Holocaust course in college and they have really stuck with me as much as Wiesel's Night has.

I also read those in college! Fantastic.
Sarah's Key was a good read, definitely worth it.

I'm reading the book now. It's haunting me. I can't get it out of my head.

Great book, but any Holocaust book is difficult to read. I had nightmares that I was there the week I was reading this book

Re: Sarah's Key
I read it. I really liked it but it wrapped up a little too neatly for my taste. I really loved the holocaust part of the story... the French family not so much.

Re: Sarah's Key
My sister just finished this book for her book club. She told me it is a must read so I bought it for my Nook. Will probably read it next.

Re: Sarah's Key
I *just* bought it after seeing it on the buy one-get one half off table at Borders. I was very on the fence because about it simply because I have read a lot of Holocaust literature lately and find it really emotionally hard. But I am looking forward to it- as soon as I finish up the new endless Ken Follett book!

Re: Sarah's Key
I just finished this last night. Honestly, I really, really liked the book but I was very disappointed with the ending. It was like she didn't know how to end it.

Re: Sarah's Key
I read it about a year ago. I couldn't put it down but was very depressed for a while after.
