Sasha's 7 Week/2 month Check Up-- for anyone who's interested!
So, my little girl has been such a good eater-- she weighs 10lbs 9oz. She gained 2 lbs and 1 oz in 4 weeks!! Not bad for a breastfed baby, right?! And she grew an inch! So she is in the 56th percentile for weight, and 65th for height-- for whatever that's worth.
Then to the shots..... I was sooooo worried about these. I so wish we all were just healthy and there were no diseases so none of us had to deal with shots and maladies, but I digress.
After speaking to the pediatrician in the family, and my doc-- I decided to give her all the vaccines today. Since there are all preventative against very serious diseases, and both sources said you don't gain anything by splitting them, I decided to just do them. I still may split up ones in the future, and I have no clue if I made the right decision, but in the end I needed to go with the opinion of people I trust since there is so much conflicting info out there.
Sasha slept all afternoon and I just took her temp and she doesn't have a fever. They gave her tylenol at the doc, and I am wondering if I should continue giving it to her just to ease any pain in her little legs even though she doesn't have a fever. Anyone know???
So, that's that.

Gorgeous!
As far as the tylenol, our ped. tells us every 4 hours until bedtime. After that, only for a fever.

Glad she's doing good. I didn't give Emerson Tylenol. Her thighs were slightly tender to the touch the first few hours but then she was fine. She didn't have any swelling or redness. If her thighs look okay I wouldn't bother with the Tylenol unless she has a fever.

So cute!!! Isn't it amazing how fast they are growing?
I've been giving Ethan tylenol. He doesn't have a fever but he keeps crying in his sleep.

Our pediatrician only recommends giving tylenol if DC has a fever or is irritable. DS felt a little warm several hours after the shots so I gave him one dose of tylenol, but he was fine after that.
