We have a top loader HE machine. Love it - especially love that I can add a garmet if I forget something!

I'd really like to have a front loader, but they're so expensive! When we're in the market for a new washing machine, I'll consider it seriously, but for now my current machine is working fine so I can't justify the price.

Bought our house 2 years ago and it came with a top loader. We will switch to a front loader when we purchase new. My dishwasher is energy efficient...does that count?!?!

Bought my top loader before I became "green". It works well, so I can't justify getting rid of it at this point.

we have a top loader thats HE-- the whirlpool cabrio. love it!! its huge and can fit so many clothes in there!!
we also just got new ktichen appliances, too and i'm sure those are energy efficient.
