Savings Bond
When you have a savings bond, you have to give a ss#. Most people use either the babies or the parents. We received one, and I think that the person used their ss#. Is this okay?

It's probably fine on just one. If you had a bunch of them from that person and they had his/her ss # on it, the IRS would come after them for the taxes on the earned interest I do believe.

Re: Savings Bond
It's not a problem at all. We asked at our bank b/c we had bought a savings bond without a baby's SS# and the bank said it would not be an issue.
