Saw a new Playard on Babies R Us...wondering if I should switch my registry
Just curious which one you would choose between these 2, please explain why. I'd rather base my decision on everyone's reasons instead of just whichever has more votes. Thanks!
1) Safety 1st Satellite Premier Playard
2) Baby Trend Deluxe Nursery

I chose the Safety First one because of the storage area.

The Safety 1st one seems too bulky to me. I chose the Baby Trend.

Do you have an upstairs/downstairs house? Then the storage in the first one is nice - otherwise probably bulky and uneccessary.
Do you plan on using it to bring baby outside? The one with the shade might be nice then.
How easily does each one fold and clean? Does that storage area come off to fold? Can you wash the bottom area?

Great points...the Saftey 1st was my first choice because the of the storage but then realized, I really don't need that storage in my house and then if we take it outside anywhere I'll have a diaper bag which rules out the need for storage/hamper space. The little canopy on the Baby Trend drew me toward that one because I assume I'll be using it outside as well as downstairs in my house so the shade option is great. I'm not too sure how the Baby Trend folds though, but when reading it online it seems easy.
