Saw Benjamin Button (possible spoilers)
I loved it and have not cried that hard at a movie in a very long time.
It reminded me a lot of Forrest Gump.

Loved it too! I was sobbing at the end. Even DH got choked up. I had to sit for a few minutes and control myself

I loved it....it kept us entertained even though it was close to 3 hrs long..and for my DH to sit through that and not complain...you know it had to be good!

Re: Saw Benjamin Button (possible spoilers)
I saw it new years day, and the girls behind us were hyterical. I did not get why they were crying.
The movie was so far fetched and so not even possible that i couldn't actually wrap my mind around it that it was believable and would make me emotional.
It was good but the beginning of the movie the lady who was narrating and talking was making violent, if she was going to narrate the entire movie i was going to walk out. I could not understand a word she was saying and it was highly annoying.
The dialog was not that great, forrest gump was a million times better than this movie in terms of the script
Cate Blachet looked amazing, she has an insane body!

Agreed. I think it was ok, but that it could have been a lot better than what it was. I didn't need my tissues for the ending either, it was predictable. I do think the acting was good but there wasn't enough meat for me.

it was like Titanic and Gump...LOL...but I was really moved...and I cried, too. Even though it was "unrealistic"--it's all about the willing suspension of disbelief. I enjoyed it. Really makes you think about the cycle of life.

I really liked it I thought it was very interesting. I didn't cry either. I thought it was a bit long but worth it.

I agree. I'm not sure why I didn't cry...probably b/c the DH woulda made fun of me! hahaha. I did enjoy it very much and didn't even mind the length. It did have similarities to Forrest Gump...but I liked that movie too!!
(Much better than other movies I've seen recently...The Wrestler and Revolutionary Road...I did not like either...)

I liked it too, but didn't find it so cry-worthy. Actually, the hardest part for me to watch was Cate Blanchett as an old lady in the hospital, because I went through something similar with my family recently and she played the part of a woman hours away from death perfectly.
For those of you comparing this to Forrest Gump - you know the same man was the screenwriter for both movies!

I really liked it! I didn't find the ending emotional though, so, no tears.

I wasn't the biggest fan... it was totally like titanic and forrest gump. I don't know why, but the old lady narrating was irritating.

The very last scene of the water washing over the clock reminded me of Titanic.
I liked the clock story, but wish it had started when Benjamin was born. It was related, but not exactly linked.
