I feel bad too.... for the person thats clothes were stolen.IMO If you're going to a laundromat, that means you don't have a washer/dryer at home so you probably need money too. Why steal some poor souls clothes? I do feel bad for the homeless guy, but seriously, Not cool.
Ok, Insert Foot in Mouth Syndrome got to me. I was so PIZZED that this thief took some other poor souls clothes that I typed and posted with out rereading my thoughts. I don't mean EVERY person that uses the laundromat is poor. I mean I, ME, ONLY ME is poor. If I was using the laundromat and had someone steal MY clothing than that would affect me deeply. Right now DH and I are saving up for a house (hopefully with a washer and dryer ) so to have clothing stolen would be sucky.

It's a shame that he either couldn't or wouldn't take advantage of numerous programs out there and is unable to care for himself, but I think it's worse that you witnessed a theft and just let it happen.
Would it have been that hard to shout out to stop him? Even if you didn't want to chase after him the person who's clothing was stolen may have wanted to run out to try and get him to drop the stuff.

How ridiculous to rationalize it just because he's homeless, it's okay to steal from someone. I'm surprised that someone could actually sit there and watch someone steal another person's belongings and NOT say anything.
