Saw the worst thing today
I was traveling Southbound on Nichols this morning and they had the Northbound lanes closed. I looked over and saw a dead body on the side of the road with the sheet draped over it  The truck had run off the road into the woods and was really mangled. I imagine it happened in the middle of the night since it it was just crime scene vans and police there. I have never in my life seen a deceased person in that manner so I was completely in shock. May whomever it was rest in peace

God, this just makes me so sick to my stomach. I posted something last week about Nichols Rd. because we saw so many bad accidents last week on there. Ugg

Nicolls Road is ther worst for accidents. People drive like maniacs on that road. May whomever you saw RIP

A 24-year-old Farmingville man died this morning when his pick-up truck struck a tree on Nicolls Road in Holtsville, police said.
Anthony X. Rodrigues, of South Howell Avenue, veered off the road and hit the tree just before 7 a.m., police said.
A 23-year-old female passenger in the truck was transferred to Stony Brook University Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
The crash is under investigation and the vehicle has been taken into police custody for a safety check, police said.
