Saw this on another parenting board and wanted to share (safety tats)
Thought these were a great idea, if parents were taking there children to a theme park or something that is going to be packed with all the summer vacations coming up.

This month's Parents mag also mentioned temporary tats you put on your kids that have a bar code and can be scanned by a smart phone so that should your child get lost all of their pertinent info (name, address, etc) will come up if scanned. Sounds crazy I know but interesting!

I have used these and they smear and partially peel after using sunblock or going in water.
I then ordered rubber bracelets (similar to LIVESTRONG bracelets) with my husband's cell number on them. When my kids were little they wore them on their ankel, now they wear them on their wrist if we are going someplace where we could possibly be seperated.
