Scary feeling...UPDATE
So I went out to grab lunch and while i was standing on line (which I was for awhile) i got these horrible tightening in my stomach, almost like a Braxton hicks. it went away, but it almost had me doubled over. i called my OB to see if I should be having these already (I am only almost 15 weeks) and they said no, come in today at 3:30. now I am worried...anyone else have this???
UPDATE: I JUST got home. Everything was fine. The first stupid nurse could not take a blood pressure and kept getting these insanely high numbers. They were going to rush me over to some cardiologist... I made another nurse take it and low and behold it was normal. My OB said that it may have been a BH contraction, or may have just been ligament pain. Because I have to wait so long, they did a sono... Baby is actually measuring 2 weeks ahead...this is now the 3rd time they have been back and forth about my due date. Anyway.....I was able to find out that we are having..........  !!!! I can't believe it!!! Intelligender was wrong... I was almost positive it was a girl.... Thanks for all the well wishes!!!

okay, seriously - you are having the month from H E L L and it's not fair. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!!!!

I was actually in L&D the other day because i felt pulling and mentrual like cramps. Im 21 weeks. They told me it was most likely ligament pain and my  kicking and punching up a storm...she was doing it so much they were calling other doctors and nurses in to watch. I got the all clear, Im sure you'll be fine!

I have felt this quite often...Its very very painful. I asked my OB about it, she said it's round ligament pain. She said it happens more when you are walking around or on your feet a lot. She told me as long as it goes away when i relax and there is no blood, it;'s fine.

Glad everything is ok. I was speaking with my OB a few visits ago b/c I definately felt braxton hicks a lot earlier in this pregnancy than my last one. He said that you actually have braxton hicks contractions for your entire pregnancy, it's just a matter of when you can actually feel them.
Sorry you had to go through that scare
