Re: schedule for a birthday party
I would do just 1.5 hours. Anymore and things start falling apart. The last half hour is usually pizza and cake, so you are just planning for an hour of activity. How much space do you have to work with? Inside or outside?

Re: schedule for a birthday party
We just had DD's b-day party at her dance school. It was 1.5hrs. I felt it was too rushed. I would have preferred 2 hours. this was the schedule for the party: -Kids entered room and danced with 1 teacher while the other gave kids tattoos. -More dancing activities -Craft -Pizza -Pinata -Cake -Handed out goody bags
We wound up ending the party about 10 minutes late, and I really felt the "cake" was rushed. Now, I had 17 kids I think so maybe that is why there wasn't really enough time IDK, but 2 hours would have been enough time not to be rushed. And honestly, the 3 other kids parties I've been to that were 1.5 hours I also felt were rushed at the end.
