Schedules - How Much Notice?

How much notice do you expect for sports games, birthday parties, etc? I would think at least a week is the norm but, I'm getting slammed this week with so much last minute stuff...

Thanks!

For a party at least 2 weeks.
For a sports game I'd expect at least a week or 2 as well

In the beginning of the school year if a parent sends home a bday party invite last minute i understand bc they would not have had the opportunity to do it any earlier if their childs bday is right after the beginning of school. Otherwise 2 weeks.

Schedules - How Much Notice?

Thanks. Last night I got an Evite for a b-day party on Sat night (for a friend who he's known forever - inviting people he's known forever), a baseball schedule (with a game tomorrow), and one of the other sports my son plays just threw us a 4pm game Saturday out of town 45 minutes away (I responded no because we have plans but, the coach messaged my friend asking if our sons could make it).

I had a small scheduling nervous breakdown last night since I like to plan these type of things.

Sports are nuts. There is a schedule, then games get cancelled, then rescheduled, then cancelled again, you get to the field and you don't have enough kids to play. It's mind blowing.

Fall baseball is a pain usually because the season has to be fast, they have to be done before the end of October or early November, so if a game or two gets cancelled, they get put back on rather quickly or you lose a game. Which people ***** about too. We had a game once called at 2pm, to be put back on at 4:30pm Chat Icon
