school fundraiser question
If you don't like to ask others for donations, what do you do with a sponsor sheet fundraiser?

I am not big for asking for donations either. I just fill them out with something from me, my parents and maybe my sister if I know it's something her kid's school does not do. You should not feel pressured into asking if you don't want too.

Re: school fundraiser question
Toss it in the trash.
I will just write a check from us. I don't expect friends and family to support my DD's school. That to me is just soooo tacky.

I never bother anyone with that stuff. I just send $25-$50 from us and call it a day.

Depends on what it is. Things like selling junk I threw out. Charities we will send or as with st. Jude recently, I did ask.

I give a donation. I'll show it to the grandparents too.

school fundraiser question
Sometimes I'll show it to the grandparents, but mostly I'll just order something. I feel like everyone's kids have these fundraisers, so why would they order from me? If it's something like an event, ballgame, ice skating, etc, I'll ask my brother or my friends from another district if they want to go.

Re: school fundraiser question
I'll ask my mother and sister but tell them only if they REALLY need or want it. Otherwise I send from us but don't participate in every single one.

Re: school fundraiser question
I always buy something and so do my parents. Other than that, I don't ask anyone else. Nobody else cares and EVERYONE else's kids in the family are also selling things, I can't expect my family to buy from everyone.

Depends what it is. I don't think it's ever wrong to put it out there, but I don't like to put people on the spot. We have one fundraiser for cookies that people love. My friends actually ask me when it's coming around. I'll post on fb and that way if people want to participate they can but you're not putting anyone in a spot where they feel they have to.

If it's a hoops for heart type thing...my DD takes $5 in and puts her name on it.
